I guess it's a program that only makes sense to frequent flyers. If you fly 3 times a year it doesn't pay. 5 and you break even. So it really makes sense if you fly 10 times a year or more, and book your own tickets on co.com ... for those people it makes immense sense. I've renewed and have at least a free ticket in my travel bank. Wish they had a discount for renewals, however ...
