You no longer clear customs at the destination airport. Transiting passengers clear customs (get your passport stamp) airside at BKK and remain airside to proceed to the domestic gates.

On arrival in HKT your baggage will be delivered to the intl baggage carousel and you will pass by the customs authorities at the exit for possible inspection.
