I will have to agree with the previous posters that downtown is much better option, to be in the middle of things. I like the Renaissance, which is attached to the baseball stadium.
But, if you are set on the airport area, I would rate the Renaissance Airport high, followed by the Marriott, then Courtyard. Many restaurant/bar options nearby that suit my needs: The Keg, Arizona's, Hooters, Pat&Mario's.
