The Portman Ritz Carlton is a great place to stay in Shanghai and in my opinion also the best luxury hotel although I haven't stayed at the Four Seasons yet. The Grand Hyatt in Pudong is nice but doesn't fit in the luxury hotel category in my opinion (like any other Hyatt hotel).
