I have been told I have to downgrade from biz to economy on my flight home to "save money."

The big question for you guys is -- is there a YUP or QUP fare that will look like economy but be biz seat on the way home? (UA 838 & UA 804)

If I fly economy, I am entitled to a rest stop in Nartia. I would not be entitled to a rest stop if I were flying business.

If the United agent's calculations are correct, the cost savings is about $232.50 for downgrading to economy. And with the per diem in Japan, I am actually gonna cost the government more money post-downgrade. Your tax dollars at work, people.
