If you want a lively thread throw in the word"kids"

I viewed this thread when the OP posted but have not been back. Boy did it get heated. Let me say that as a Mom that has flown with a now 17 year old since he was under two I can relate. My son actually was an Elite with UA & CO before he was 5. I guess I was lucky as he was always well behaved and slept for most of the flts when he was young. Now he just puts in his ear buds for his ipod and ignores us.

In any case it seems that even if OP bought a seat for her 18 month old they would not have been able to sit together as there were only middle seats. That would have been really great if OP was in row 12B and 18 month old was in 13E. I bet a lot of people would be willing to swap seats then.

There are 3 sides to every story. First person's side, second person's side and somewhere in between (usually) the truth. It seems to me the OP did everything she should have to make the best of the situation and I think the FA went a little overboard with writing up an incident report.

OP, please post what your answer was from AS when you hear back and good luck with the upcoming birth.

Cheers
