At the beginning of this year I was a GM on UA but knew that I'd be commuting IAD-LAX/SFO each week. I went ahead and got the E+ access pass so I could immediately get E+ at the time of booking.

It was a great investment - despite only needing to use it for a couple of weeks, it was a big help when I was getting started earlier this year.
