It really depends on your itinerary though. Now that 2E has reopened, fewer remote gates are used and many itineraries use 2E, 2F, and S3 - when my itinerary has involved connecting between these three only, I have usually been able to make it from gate to gate in less than 20 minutes (admittedly I know the airport and I walk fast). The 'visualise your connection' thing on the AF website should be quite useful for people who do not know the airport.

Bottom line, CDG is not user-friendly, passport control often takes ages, EU citizens lines are not always respected (I find this shocking), security can be slow and the people manning security can sometimes be borderline rude, but the airport is certainly no worse than pre-T5 LHR or FRA...
