1. You've got an agreement. If you want to change the terms of that agreement, they reserve the right to say "nope, it's that deal or no deal."

2. Making a bunch of reservations would just be childish.

3. You liked Hertz that much before this that you'd be willing to pay an extra $180 to rent from them if they had agreed to let you pick it up a day later? Wow.
