Well basically $253 for a USA-JAPAN one way....this is getting out of hand now. Taxes and surcharges will cost close to $600USD!

And it was only about 18 months ago that a paid ticket between US-Japan-US could cost as little as $500-$600 and earn frequent flyer miles while at it.
