Ok - not strictly BA related, but reckon this is the best place to get an answer. Does anyone know if the approach paths to LHR have changed permanently in the last 6-8 weeks? I live in SW4, Clapham, and for 10 years have been used to the steady hum of the BA26 from 0440, and everything else behind it. For a while now it has gone dead quiet and there is nothing going overhead! Not complaining, but it seems very odd, I emailed the Noise line for BAA, surprise surprise it came back as 'undeliverable'......mailbox full? Am now becoming used to the whine of the little planes going to LCY, they seem to do a banked turn straight above us, which made me wonder if increased LCY flights means I am saved from the LHR big boys. Any clues?
