Actually I was interested if anybody does that at all. I'm leaning to "not worth it" unless the flight is during the weekend and I can fit in a couple of hours in MUC/Freising to have a beer at Weihenstephaner Brauerei for example.
Well I guess it's also a question what you are trying to achieve. If you are aiming at achieving/requalifying SEN or HON status then it might be worth it, since status and HON miles cannot be simply gained through Die Welt subscriptions etc.
