Are people forgetting that SQ flies the A380 on this route with the huge new business class seats? These are (seemingly to me, I didn't measure) more than double the width of the BA seat. Huge TV with the best AVOD in the industry, and great food and service.

I've flown with the new SQ seats several times now and I'm 6'1". That makes me just a smidge too tall for the bed, however the seats are so wide that I can angle myself across and stretch all the way out. If you are shorter than you will be fine.

Not all the planes on this route have the new seats, so make sure you book the A380 or a 773. I agree that the seats on the SQ 747 are not at all as good as BA or VS.
