I just stayed at the Hilton Columbo. The hotel was great. Incredible service and value for price paid ($105+29%, $95+ nonRef was also bookable).

The park along the ocean that was once full of locals, local food stalls, vendors, tourists, etc was all but deserted. The walk along the water was just as nice, but a startling change from the jovial setting from my last visit.

Taxi was 2200 each way, in a good A/C Nissan Sunny.

I'd go back in a moment... it's just too bad the mood and economy seem to be so low right now.
