Welcome to Flyer Talk, Group 7! I think you're the only person who's posted here that has actually stayed at the Claska. Sounds like they treated you unusually well -- I've never been invited to a hotel sponsored event that I wasn't directly connected with on any stay, anywhere. Of course, maybe that just is an indicator that I need to shower more often!
