i just noticed that a business class award ticket JFK-MAA is only 94k on 9W, 47k for coach, twice that for premier. i would need 180k on BA. no reason to fly BA anymore. was totally pissed when BA increased the club world award ticket from 100K to 180k a few years ago. kept flying them to MAA because the only other option LH was really lousy compared to BA. between the awesome inflight experience and the low miles for business class awards 9W is very attractive - this despite the continuosly crappy checkin and airport lounge experiences at JFK and MAA on 3 trips so far.
