Not a complaint but a question:

Let's say I'm in the 12 items or less aisle (or the 12 items or fewer aisle for those who prefer better grammer). I have 2 boxes of pasta, 2 jars of sauce, a 6-pack of Pepsi and 10 cans of tuna. Is that 15 items (counted individually) or 4 items (only 4 different things)?
