Guess you have never sat next to a screaming infant. You can complain all you want, but there's nothing that can or will be done to resolve the "issue".
I hope OP returns back with Alaska's response and is not dissuaded by the lack of sympathy on FT. We are scheduled to fly with a toddler in F in a couple of weeks and AS will be looking at a civil rights lawsuit if the FAs start harassing us (though junior has always been treated well on each of his 45 flights on other carriers

Crawl down off the cross, Boraxo. I have traveled with my own three children for many years, and the key to it is preparation and planning. Yes, kids can and will act up at the worst times and in the worst places, but it is the responsibility of a PARENT to ensure that their children are comfortable as well as others around them. I don't need to walk a mile in anyone's shoes to know their laces are untied. Consulting a website, travel guide or other reference with tips on how to handle children and travel would have benefitted the OP and her child immensely. She obviously cannot argue that she has access to the internet, or the post would never have been made.
No airline is required to carry anyone they do not wish to serve. That's the law. Flying is not a right, it is a privilege just like driving. The airline can refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason, though that is probably not the way to ensure repeat business. Alaska Airlines is not a publicly funded transportation service and is not subject to many limitations placed on governmental entities. If the airline refuses service, either it will refund the money or place you on another carrier. YOU deal with that reality.
None of us really know what happened on that flight, and as usual the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Whatever happened is probably more a matter of misperception and confusion, and I will give both the OP and the FA the benefit of a doubt in this instance.
Do you honestly believe anyone would be intimidated or the least bit bothered by your baseless and empty threats about a lawsuit? If you do, there is a bridge in Brooklyn just waiting for you to buy.
