Taking the OP's complaint and version of the events at face value, sorry to hear about your experience.

Having said that, my 1st daughter made MVP before she was 2. She was far from an angel on all the flights, but well behaved enough for us to keep bringing her aboard. Never had an FA complain to me or my wife about the behavior or any aspect of our behavior while on the plane.

And yes, there was a couple of RT transcons that year, not just short West coast flights.
