Oh I couldn't agree more, the table they issued did not show what buckets these are booked into and I think was intended to make staff feel good about flying BMI. The company tell us that "we've negotiated special fares on these routes".

I could stir things up and ask what the fare buckets were, and I still reckon I could get a better deal on most routes worldwide in J or F (or associated discounted buckets). However, dissent on corporate decisions is frowned upon and I would find myself getting transferred to the 'Special Projects' department which is one of the quickest non-redundancy routes out of the door and with 20 odd years service I don't relish job hunting for something similar at my age!!
