Les Tontons Flinguers. I would fly them just to see that. That is one of my most favourite films ever!
Thank you for that Dear.
Let me share this with you all. My only problem with all of this is the KLM bit of Air France. I have nothing against the airline per se as I have never flown them - like everything else some say great others say fly anyone else.
What I do know is that a friend of ours who is director of a rather prestigious restaurant in Paris was travelling with them to South America - I forget where in J. They arrived at CDG to discover that the flight to AMS was cancelled and the connection was lost. The alternative offered was all over half of the USA with 3 changes - the direct flight that they were on was three times weekly or some such. They would have taken another 30 hours I was told because of the connecting times. They were going for 8 days. They were made to feel that it was their fault to want to go there rather than the airlines. Needless to say the matter did not get resolved with a Palm Tree or even an olive branch. So HIDDY's tale rang a chord and as always this is the problem with connection and why people prefer to stick with direct flights.
This is not just an issue with them but I have heard this more often than I have with other EU operators with the unsurprising exception of Alitalia.
