You can use wireless backbone; doesn't need to be wired (OK, BW not as good as wired - but servicable).

There is no reason why a typical HI couldn't be set up in a few hours for a few thousand bucks including labor. Cost of deprecaition and the T1 line will run to just penneies per room night.

What excuse can there be for ICHG insisting on it for all NA properties, but not EU ?
