As mentioned above, the procedure is very simple. Declare the items at checkin and you will be directed to the appropriate security queue where a supervisor will examine the items and supporting documentation. The items will be subjected to a visual inspection and possibly a chemical analysis depending on available equipment at that specific checkpoint and the declared contents. The entire procedure should take no longer than 5-6 minutes, queues permitting.
