They quite literally had their engineer and staff construct a giant sign visible from the air. The lowest category room at W Maldives is 90,000 SPG points per night. The lowest rate I've seen during monsoon season is $850-$900 for the cheapest room (on beach vs overwater). $1,500 is the average price. I have never seen the rates drop below $850 for the beach villa/residence/whatever u wanna call it. SPG50 rate is US$1100 per night for the cheapest room. Even at that price, you are still paying for it
