Or you might try for the LHR-SEA-SFO using AS for the SEA-SFO legs. Not sure when that flight starts, but it might give a better connection.
Also, on the westbound, you might arrive early enough to standby for an earlier MSP-SFO flight -- as standby there usually no charge.
