Zembla is very right. Connections under 1 hour are insane. Really if you have never been to CDG before, give yourself 3 hours, it is sad that they sell you shorter connections without proper warning.

I always aim for 2 hours at least, otherwise it is very stressful. From the US, the delays are guaranteed, particularly from JFK, so 3 hours is a minimum.
