I've only had one PL stay there, and my experience was almost exactly like that of
hedoman - the room looked like it had been renovated within the last couple of years, the bathroom was spotless, and the front desk people were fine.
A comment after using OP's Trip Advisor link. TA can make for interesting reading, but I'm more likely to believe comments posted on this board regarding hotels than on TA, for obvious reasons.
My feeling has always been, that from a
business travel perspective, TA ratings and reviews can be quite useful in confirming POSITIVE aspects of a property, but that travel inexperience and unrealistic expectations often make it necessary to take NEGATIVE ratings with a rather large grain of salt. FT comments are much, much more reliable.
