The only carrier really in a position would be WN, and acquisitions aren't their style.
Certainly not AirTran. Maybe in 18 months time when the shakeup in the airline industry is over, AirTran may set their sites on MKE again. But I doubt it. A bigger prize for AirTran is ORD.... I suspect UAL is going to contract if not file for bankruptcy again and gate space might become available. I see AirTran jumping on that opportunity first. They love congested airports.
