Also although MAD is Band 3 the service (not) was to rush the food trolley out with a bar and retire behind the blue curtain! Grrh! It took a lot of persuasion to get a second drink.

Meanwhile yesterday's lunch on a Band 3 to HEL was a rather delicious piece of salmon in creamy sauce, served with vegetables and potatoes, followed by a perfectly adequate caramel creamy dessert, and cheese and biscuits. Complemented with kettle chips (and a Hello Magazine) stolen from the Gate 5 lounge and lots of very chilled champagne.
And a whole row of 3 to myself in 2DEF, and a delightful purser with a lovely smile. Band 3 ain't that bad.
