I have had many of these combinations and I usually tell a FA. Some of them tell me that they will note it. Worst example was SYD-MEL last October in C. My seat would not stay upright. It was a subtle slide back. At SYD a mechanic was called to fix it and it was OK for a few seconds while he watched. Once the plane took off, it gave way once again. I was moved to a middle seat after the plane levelled.
