I hope the possibility of redemption becomes a reality. I was just looking for a way to spend some expiring SK points this past weekend and was disappointed in the lack of options. Not only are the hotel options minimal, but there is a service fee for booking and if you are less than EBG (as I am), you cannot use points for hotel stays unless they are in connection with a Eurobonus flight. How insane is that - if I could manage to redeem my miles for flights, I wouldn't need to try to burn them on hotel stays.

It would be great to be able to redeem miles for stays at the Hilton family of hotels, but I fear the same restrictions might apply as the other hotel redemption options.
