A client wanted to have lunch at Nobu - 2 days from the day he was telling me. We called, but it was after the time when Nobu's reservation line closed for the day. So, I called Whatever/Whenever and asked if they could get the reservation. They said that they'd get back to me, but the next day - I gave them my mobile #.
The next morning, my secretary called the Nobu reservation line when it opened, and got the reservation at the desired time. She then called What/When and told them to cancel the request. However, What/When at the Tuscany (my hotel) had farmed it to a staff person at W-NY (51st street), so I was interrupted in the middle of a meeting 2 hours later by a W person telling me that the time I wanted wasn't available and did I want + or - 30 mins...
So, I'm not a fan of W. But I love SPG.
