Agreed that there is improvement for awarding miles within Chile, Peru, and Argentina even though at 25%, but it's very, very disappointing to now earn 1304 miles on a roundtrip MIA-LIM-MIA on Lan on lower fares which always awarded 5216 miles.

Services and comfort on IB (no experience on BA) were usually equal or less than AA anyway, so it was a no brainer to fly AA to MAD to earn 100%.

But Lan was a great alternative to the old AA metal while earning 100%. Anytime I questioned myself about leaving OW alliance the deciding factor to stay was because it had Lan. I'll still stay with OW, but it's now a soft decision.
