Thanks for the update. I flew out of OAK 3 weeks ago and didn't see all the new stuff that you talked about. The airport is all worn out so it is nice to see the changes. Of course the new Terminal 2 is very nice, and is always busy because of WN.
Three years ago, I flew down to OAK at least once a month, but now I only fly there may be 4 times a year. My business travel pattern has changed. I always like OAK because of its size and ease of access, although the rental car shop is too far away.

Yes that rental car center is too far away. Blame that on 9/11. Used to be right out the front door. The parking rule from 9/11 pushed them away and since the lack of parking already near the terminal they moved it over to north field. It's a nice building but I do agree...far away. People miss their flights all the time because it's hard to get to and from.
