Right -- that's the risk of the 2.5 star bid.

I've actually never gotten a HoJo on priceline, and I can't imagine why one would rate better than 2 stars.

Not sure why priceline would want to inflate these properties by this half star. Getting the weak ones no doubt depresses customer satisfaction with priceline, and makes folks less likely to use the service -- and less likely to bid high.
