More bad news for me - my most frequent AS route was SFO-YVR and that is being axed in September. OAK-SNA was second and trips to MFR third.

I am probably not going to be able to continue as an MVP. Everything I want to do now requires some complicated connection or extra driving. Also, the chance of an upgrade on the SEA connections is a fraction of what it was on those two routes.

I have flown AA quite a bit more this year but UA is looking like it may be my best option for west coast travel because we can do SFO-YVR and SFO-MFR non-stop, even if I do have to sit in the back of the bus.

I'm in mourning. AS has changed its business so it no longer fits my needs.

Thanks for the food update. I think I have to leave home between noon and 1 to trek to OAK on BART so I may eat here first. I did the trek to the new part of T2 once...it takes a while.
