I would try it if I really needed the baggage. Otherwise they will probably deliver it tomorrow. You probably have a BP so no problem to get airside. Then to lost luggage counter and try your best.

LCY is small, and many people fly without checked luggage, so they should be able to find it. I assume you have your luggage receipt stub.
