Your DAY-DFW flight left DAY at 12:40 PM. I assume (but, admittedly haven't checked) that DFW is the only route ex-DAY that sees mainline service, which would mean that it is the only route with an F cabin and, thus, a requirement to offer some form of catering.
I also assume that the aircraft for your flight did a turn-around in DAY, probably arriving from DFW an hour or so before your departure, meaning that it left DFW in the morning.
My guess is that they do not recater the aircraft in DAY, but rather double cater it in DFW, which means that space would be at a premium and, as such, offer a different meal to save galley space.
