Some months ago, I tried to purchase a ticket at IAD. I had a voucher and live close so I did it in person. I stood patiently in the FC line (two people ahead of me) and when I reached the ticket agent I had my PLT card out and began to ticket but she told me, "Sir you really shouldn't be using this line." She mumbled something about "ticketing hours." I asked for the supervisor who told me the same thing. I went into the regular line and still ended up at the FC counter! When I got home I called the PLT line and complained. Later that week the head of ticketing operations for AA at IAD called me to apologize. PLT privilege to use the FC line is just that, a privilege granted by AA to us.
