In about two weeks' time I'll need to fly from Singapore to Kuwait, and TG seems to be the only Asian *A carrier that actually flies there, even though the routing (SIN-BKK-xDXB-KWI) is a little convoluted. Any tips on what to expect in Y for the BKK-DXB-KWI bit? (Or maybe C if my ticket class allows an upgrade.) Aircraft, seating, entertainment, ...?

The other obvious option would be SQ SIN-DXB and then EK/KU DXB-KWI, but I've flown the first of those way too many times and I hate the transfer desks at DXB.
