Actually, the listed benefit of PLT is business checkin line when there is one, and F otherwise. Did you ever consider that maybe it's the # of PLTs that makes the J line so long, and moving the PLTs to F/EXP would disadvantage those customers who are ever so slightly more valuable to AA than PLTs like you and me?
