You only have two options regarding ug'ing with miles for SIN-NRT:

5K miles if Y or B class fares

or

10K miles if you're in M or H

If they charge you more than that and you don;t get the next segment ug'ed then call UA and get it corrected. Good luck getting the SIN-NRT ug, that's a tough one.
