Claiming missing miles when the ticket has not been fully used

Dear FlyerTalkers,

I took an AF flight from CDG to Kiev three weeks ago; I was happy to fly with Air France again as my miles are to expire in a few months and this was supposed to keep them alive for three other years...

...but that trip does not appear on my statement. OK, my travel agent forgot to enter my FlyingBlue number when issuing the ticket - but I gave my FB card at check-in.

When I try to claim my miles through the AF website, I get an obscure answer: "No coupon(s) can be found, that match the information provided. Please check and enter again".

Before going further, I have to say that I was not able to use the return segment of my cheap, non flexible ticket. Would it be plausible that my CDG>KBP miles are not credited because I did not use the KBP>CDG ticket? In retaliation?

Any similar experience?
