- Are you paying 137 USD per night per night or for two nights at the IC? As I luckily can convert it into Euro, I would head for the IC. If USD is "your" currency, I'd probably take the reward nights...

- For your last night, stay at the IC Semiramis. Rush hour in Cairo starts at about 6.30 to 7.00 am. So, no traffic for your 6.30 flight. Will take about 20 to 30 minutes from the Semiramis to the airport.

- Another thought: you can do the pyramides almost as convieniently when staying at the Semiramis as staying in Giza (Le Meridien). The Semiramis has a pool, just like the resorts in Giza and going from Cairo downtown to the pyramids doesn't take too long. Moreover, Giza does not offer anything but the hotel restaurants/bars in the evening/ at night. There are no "bazzars" or "markets" close to the resorts in Giza - only tourist traps: about half a million "papyrus museums", thousends of "quality cotton stores", and basically no restaurants. Cairo downtown gives you a lot of choices. Cairo doesn't "sleep" until at least midnight.
