2 options that I would suggest. 1) contact the same manager and ask to cancel your original res. 2) just show up and when they see 2 reservations under your name, say that you thought you only booked one at the cheaper rate and tell them it was a "duplicate reservation". These are generally cancelled at no charge.
#2 is riskier but a good backup option of #1 fails and they wont cancel it.
