Visa not required provided holding:
- confirmed onward ticket for first available connection to a
third country. Leaving the airport transit area is not
allowed;
OR
- a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card.

Note: international transfer facilities are very limited at
most Indian airports. Passengers in transit through airports
with limited facilities will need to be escorted to their
connecting flight. Please contact carrier(s) concerned to check
if transit is possible.

Indians on acquiring or holding another nationality must
contact their embassy/high commission for further information.

Non-compliance with transit regulations result in fines for
the carrier and deportation of passenger to point of origin on
same or first available flight.
