Retained value of cancelled tickets
Mrs 999 and I recently had to cancel a US flight for which we had bought non-refundable tickets. We notified them in time and now have almost a year to use the 'unflown value' of the tickets, upon payment of a change fee. But there's something I don't see addressed in the T&C. What if only one of us wants to apply this 'value' to a future flight? Can I or she use all of it, or only half? I suspect the latter, because the former would be too customer-friendly.
