I have stayed at the Le'Meridien Heliopolis and IC Semiramas.

Heliopolis is a nice hotel, small lounge-not much their mostly small snacks and coffee. A great breakfast buffet given to plats, both stays there upgraded to suites. I had It is not that close to the pyramids. Sorry no experience at Le'Meridien Pyramids

Semiramis is in a great location right by the river with an excellent lounge--I had to push for the lounge as an upgrade with my Platinum Ambassador Status. Upon getting to the Club floor was very impressed with the service there. The gift was a nice handmade picture frame depicting the pyramids

I had originally reserved the Sheraton my second night in Cairo but switched to Heliopolis due to reports on here and tripadvisor.
