I had a chance to use the new Koru Lounge in Tauranga last week and was very impressed. Individual seating for about 35 or so, plus a couch and a large table surrounded by padded stools. Two computer stations. Sandwiches, biscuits and Kapiti cheese portions were available in the kitchen and there's an espresso maker - just like the grown-up lounges!

Decor is rattan and the muted colours of the NZ palette - all in all quite restful and a welcome enhancement (in the true sense of the word) to the TRG airport experience.

Well done NZ.

And speaking of improvements - great news that the bikkies are back on the flights!
