Tumi claims the 22021 is to BAA standards, but I would like some ancidotal evidence that confirms this (not sure if their measurments take the wheels, the handle into consideration).
Dont many airlines have a width limit of 14". The "Continental" seems less than universal, and the 14" wide international carry on would seem safer.
